How Long does it take to get a Florida Real Estate License? The pre-license class is 63 hours. Classes are 8 Hours per day. That makes 8 days. Usually these are spread out over 2-1/2 weeks so that the students aren't overwhelmed. There is also time involved with the State application process, background check, fingerprinting, and scheduling the State Exam.
The Nights/Weekend program meets Monday & Wednesday nights from 6-9 and all day Saturdays (8-5) to fulfill the 63 hour requirement. Usually 5-6 weeks.
How much does it cost to become a Real Estate Agent? The 63 Hour class is $300 plus $50 for the book, you'll want to join your local association, you'll need to adjust your auto insurance to cover transporting customers, There are fees for the State application, fees for fingerprinting, fees for the State exam, Errors and omissions insurance, and various marketing tools like business cards and the services of a good writer for your resume and on-line profile.
